Mit diesen Kompositionen zur Stadt Nürnberg möchte der Pianist und Songwriter seine mit Herz und Seele entstandenen Werke zu Frankens großer alter Stadt vorstellen.
Claus Stawei liebt die Musik und die Stadt Nürnberg, die ihm und seiner Familie seit vielen Jahren zu einer neuen Heimat wurde.
Dabei hat ihn als Pianist immer wieder beschäftigt, dass Städte wie Paris, Rom, New York und San Francisco von vielen Liedern besungen werden, die jeder kennt und Nürnberg, diese einzigartige
Stadt mit ihrem weltbekannten „Christkindlesmarkt“ bis zum heutigen Tage solche Kompositionen nicht zu bieten hat.
Mit diesen Gedanken im Kopf sind die fünf Melodien und Balladen entstanden, mit denen Claus Stawei versucht, sein Nürnberg im Klang des Albums „Sound of the City“ musikalisch widerzuspiegeln.
